The Woodland Adult Education Child Care and Development Program provides quality child development services which enable parents to attend classes. Children of the Woodland Adult Education Program receive priority for registration. As space permits, children of Woodland Adult Education Program staff are offered services as well. The Center offers children an experience that facilitates their growth, learning and creativity.
The Woodland Adult Education Child Care and Development Program goals are:
- To provide a program where children develop intellectually, socially, physically, and emotionally.
- To provide opportunities for children to gain independence, self-control, and respect for others.
- To provide an environment which enhances the self-esteem of all children through successful learning experiences.
- To provide families opportunities to learn more about the development of their children and early childhood education, as well as, to enhance parenting skills through participation in school activities and workshops.
