How does a family become involved in K-8 Home Study?

What is K-8 Home Study?

Woodland K-8 Home Study is an alternative to regular classroom instruction for those families who have the time, interest and need.

An educational plan is developed for each student using the resources of the district, parent, and student. Under the guidance of the home study teacher, daily instruction is overseen by the parents.

Resources, coordination, supervision and evaluation of student's work are provided by the home study teacher working with each family. Through this approach, even the youngest students become active and responsible participants in the learning process.
