About Information Technology


Mission Statement

The mission of the Woodland Joint Unified School District Information Technology Department is to provide innovative, contemporary and accessible technology in computing, media and telephone services to enable the student, parents, faculty and staff of WJUSD to effectively meet their goals as a learning community. To accomplish this mission, Information Technology works collaboratively with the WJUSD community to provide technological leadership which emphasizes empowerment of the individual through the use of technology.


Vision Statement

The Information Technology Department will support the education and business objectives of Woodland Joint Unified School District to be a source of community pride and be recognized as a model of educational excellence in the Valley. Information Technology will be instrumental in enabling and implementing change. Information Technology will continue to be an area of strength within WJUSD, providing innovative tools for growth, productivity, education and management information. WJUSD IT will select, procure and deploy state of the art hardware and software solutions in support of the educational and business objectives for all stakeholders in the education community.
