The District has purchased N95’s for adults and KN95’s for children.  These masks are available for staff and students for voluntary use and are not required to be used.  With the recent rise in COVID case, both the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Yolo County Health Officer encourage everyone to upgrade their mask and use effective masks with both good fit and filtration.  The CDPH’s recent guidance for adults and children, identify N95's and KN95's as most effective in the protection against COVID-19.

In accordance with state, county and District guidelines, face masks are still required to be worn indoors and outdoors at our schools and facilities.  The District continues to provide face masks for all staff, students and essential visitors that need them. There are adequate supplies of surgical masks on hand for those that choose to layer their surgical face masks.
