NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Woodland Joint Unified School District of Yolo County, California, 
acting by and through its Board of Trustees, hereinafter referred to as "School District," will 
receive up to, but not later than, the above-stated deadline, sealed Prequalification Packages at 
the  place identified above.
It is mandatory that all prime or general contractors and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing 
(“MEP”) subcontractors (as defined in Public Contract Code Section 20111.6, hereinafter 
collectively referred to as “Bidder” or “Bidders”) who intend to submit bids for the Projects over 
one million dollars ($1,000,000) fully complete the prequalification questionnaire, provide all 
materials requested herein, and be approved by School District to be on the final Bidders list. No 
bid will be accepted from a Bidder that has failed to comply with these requirements. If two or 
more business entities submit a bid on a project as a Joint Venture, or expect to submit a bid as 
part of a Joint Venture, each entity within the Joint Venture must be separately qualified to bid.

For any contract awarded after January 1, 2014, using funds from the Leroy F. Greene School 
Facilities Act of 1998 or from any future state school bond if the project has projected 
expenditures of one million dollars or more, the School District must prequalify all bidders. 
(Public Contract Code 20111.6) The School District shall comply with all requirements of the PCC 
20111.6 until it's expiration on June 30, 2020.

Bidders interested in providing a bid for a contract on a School District project with projected 
expenditures of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) or more are required to be prequalified 
regardless of the value of the general/prime and/or subcontractors’ work on the project. Responses 
to the questionnaire and the financial statement are not public record and are not open to public 
inspection.


Who Must Prequalify: Any and all General/Prime Contractors or Subcontractors wishing to submit bids 
for the Project.
1.        General Contractors
2.  Prime Contractors (On Multi-Prime Delivery Method projects, all Prime Contractors   must 
Prequalify, regardless of license classification)
3. Subcontractors – Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (All subcontractors with these license 
classifications must Prequalify: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 and C-46)

WOODLAND JOINT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Woodland Joint Unified School District, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as “District”, will receive prior to sealed bids for the award of a Contract for the following:

LEE MIDDLE SCHOOL HVAC REPLACEMENT
All bids shall be made and presented only on the forms presented by the District.  Bids shall be received in the Office of the _ Maintenance, Operations, & Facilities  at , Californiaand shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above state time and place.  Any bids received after the time specified above or after any extensions due to material changes shall be returned unopened.
The Contract Time is 130 calendar days.
Contract will be awarded approximately April 1, 2019 with 130 Calendar Days. This will allow for ordering of HVAC Units and other materials.
On-Site construction will occur June 17, 2019 with substantial completion by August 9, 2019
CONTRACTOR should consult the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and General Requirements regarding Milestones and Liquidated Damages.  
 
Prequalification of Bidders
As a condition of bidding for this Project, and in accordance with California Public Contract Code section 20111.5, prospective bidders are required to submit to the District a completed set of prequalification documents on forms provided by the District.  These documents will be the basis for determining which bidders are qualified to bid on this Project.
Bids will not be accepted if a Contractor has not been prequalified where prequalification is required.  Prequalification documents are available from the Woodland Joint Unified School District Website at www.wjusd.org/Departments/Maintenance-Operations-and-Facilities/Notice-of-Annual-Contractor-Prequalification-Campaign/index.html , and at 910 College Street, Woodland, California 95695, (530)406-5930 . 
Prequalification documents must be submitted by   Contractors will be notified by telephone, fax or by mail of their prequalification rating within a reasonable period of time after submission of their prequalification documents, but not less than five days prior to the bid opening date.

If this Project includes work that will be performed by mechanical, electrical or plumbing (“MEP”) subcontractors (contractors that C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38,  C-42, C-43 or C-46 licenses), such MEP subcontractors must also be prequalified.  A list of prequalified MEP subcontractors will be made available by the District to all bidders at least five business days prior to the bid opening date.  It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that all MEP subcontractors any of the licenses listed above are properly prequalified before submitting a bid.  This prequalification requirement applies even if the subcontractor will perform, or is designated to perform, work that does not require one of the licenses listed above, but the subcontractor one of the licenses listed above.

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
LEASE-LEASEBACK CONSTRUCTION SERVICES BY THE WOODLAND JOINT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Woodland Joint Unified School District of Yolo County, California, 
(“District”), is seeking proposals from qualified firms for Lease-Leaseback Construction Services 
(“LLB”) for improvements to the Woodland High School Stadium (“Project”). The Project includes 
Removal of the existing burmed bleacher system and stadium lighting. The new scope consists of new 
bleacher, stadium lighting, (2) relocatable toilet buildings, misc. site work and paving, improved 
accessibility access and parking, and related electrical, fire, low voltage, plumbing, and storm 
drainage systems and all associated work. The estimated construction budget is Two Million Eight 
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,800,000) with an estimated performance period of Seven ( 7_) months.

February 6, 2019 @ 9:00 a.m. at the Woodland High School Stadium located at 21 N. West Street 
Woodland, California 95695.

The winning proposal will be determined based on the “best value” competitive procurement process 
under Education Code section 17400 et seq., whereby the LLB firm is evaluated and selected by the 
District based on a combination of price and qualifications of the LLB firm.

The proposals must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on February 27, 2019, at the address 
identified in the RFP.
