Public Information Office
Welcome to the WJUSD Public Information Office.
The Public Information Office is under the Office of the Superintendent. The public information officer is responsible for media relations and district-wide communications with staff, families, and the broader Woodland community.
We aim to keep our community well informed when it comes to the success of our students, programs, and schools; to promote our District’s mission, vision, and goals; and to ensure we’re using the most effective communications tactics and strategies for reaching our community members.
We publish regular communications on our website and manage the District’s presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, as well as support schools with marketing and crisis communications as needed.
We want to showcase all the great things that are happening throughout our District and highlight our amazing students, teachers, staff, and administrators.
Help us recognize students and staff and promote school events!
Use this form to submit photos, recognize students/staff, promote events, and provide story ideas to the public information officer.
Your photos and story could be featured on social media, in a press release, on our website, or in a report to the school board.
Just fill out this short form and we'll handle the rest.
