NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE WOODLAND JOINT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT APPROVING AN INCREASE IN STATUTORY SCHOOL FEES IMPOSED ON NEW RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION PURSUANT TO EDUCATION CODE SECTION 17620 AND GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 65995
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees (“Board”) of the Woodland Joint Unified School District (“District”) at its Regular Meeting to be held on April 25, 2024, will conduct a Public Hearing to consider its report entitled, “School Facilities Fee Justification Report for Residential, Commercial & Industrial Development Projects” (“Study”), and consider adopting a Resolution of the Board of the District to increase Statutory School Fees imposed on new residential and commercial/industrial construction pursuant to Education Code Section 17620 and Government Code Section 65995. The Study justifying such increases, which is incorporated herein by this reference, is on file at the District’s offices, located at 435 6th Street, Woodland, CA 95695, and is available for public review from April 15, 2024, through April 25, 2024.
 
The Public Hearing of the District, to be held April 25, 2024, will begin at 6:00 p.m., in the District Office Board Room, located at 435 6th Street, Woodland, CA 95695. These matters will be considered at such time as this agenda item is considered by the Board of the District.

Regular Board Meetings are held every second and fourth Thursday of each month, unless posted otherwise, in the WJUSD District Office Board Room. Regular Board Meeting Closed Sessions are held 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., and Open Sessions begin at 6:00 p.m. unless posted otherwise on the Board Meeting agenda.
