Dear WJUSD Families, Staff, and Community,

Last week I spoke with students and staff at Tafoya Elementary School about how they’re working to prevent bullying as part of our Districtwide anti-bullying campaign. Please click on the image above to watch the video.

I’m also proud to announce that last week we launched NEW websites for our District Office and our school sites!

When we conducted a communications survey last school year we heard loud and clear that you wanted updated websites.

Please go to www.wjusd.org (and visit your school’s website as well) to check out our new look.

We would love to hear what you think so that we can continue improving. Please fill out this short form and send us your thoughts and feedback.

This week’s update also includes:

  • NEW DATE: African-American Parent Advisory Council, Oct. 25
  • Last Superintendent Meet and Greet, Oct. 18
  • Training for Parents
  • Board of Trustees Update

Respectfully,
Elodia Ortega-Lampkin
