TK/Kindergarten Registration for School Year 2024-2025 starts on March 1st, 2024.

Your child is eligible for TK or Kindergarten for the school year 2024-2025 if:
- TK: Turn five (5) between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025
- Kindergarten: Turn five (5) on or before September 1, 2024
- Not eligible: Born after June 2, 2020
Current Preschool Students who are headed to Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten must use the AIR Online Registration system to provide current and updated registration information.
TK PROGRAM PLACEMENT
- Schools offering TK during 2024-25 are Beamer (DI), Dingle, Gibson, Maxwell, Plainfield, Prairie (DI), Spring Lake, Tafoya, Whitehead, and Zamora Elementary. The TK classrooms at Beamer and Prairie are Dual Immersion.
- Open Enrollment (intra-district transfer) is not available for TK students.
- Enrollment in TK is based on space available and is first come first served.
HOW TO ENROLL TO SPRING LAKE ELEMENTARY
- Transitional Kindergarten: Register using air.wjusd.org. Placement in TK is based on space available and is first come first served. There is no Open Enrollment for TK.
- Kindergarten - 6th Grade: Make sure your child is first enrolled to their neighborhood school prior to submitting an open enrollment application to Spring Lake
- Complete an electronic Open Enrollment Application (1 proof of residency is required for this process) starting on March 1st.
